Our Services
Three Services, One Focused Practice
Each service begins with careful listening and produces a clear written output. The client decides at each stage what, if anything, should follow.
Back to HomeOur Approach
How Every Matter Is Handled
Every matter at Wibawa begins with a conversation — not an intake form or a checklist. The lawyer listens first, because the specific circumstances of each client's situation shape how the relevant frameworks apply. Two people with what appear to be identical situations may face quite different entitlement positions depending on details that only emerge through careful discussion.
From that conversation, the lawyer identifies the documents needed, reviews them against the applicable scheme rules, and produces a written account of the client's position. That written account is the core output of the initial service — something the client can keep, share with family, or simply read at home without a lawyer present.
Listen first
Every engagement begins with understanding your situation before any advice is offered
Review the record
Documents are gathered and assessed against the applicable Malaysian scheme rules
Write clearly
The written summary is prepared in plain English — readable without legal expertise
Client's choice
You decide at each stage whether and how to proceed. Nothing advances without your agreement
Pension Entitlement Review
RM 1,650
A measured initial review of a client's pension entitlement under Malaysian retirement frameworks, including statutory contributions, employer schemes, and survivor provisions where relevant. The lawyer first listens to the client's circumstances, then prepares a written summary of the entitlements likely to apply, the supporting documents needed, and the steps that would follow. The aim is clarity at this stage, not commitment to onward work; the client may take the summary away and decide at their own pace.
- Written summary of applicable entitlements and scheme rules
- Document checklist identifying what is needed and why
- Overview of the steps that would follow if the client chooses to proceed
- No obligation to engage further once the summary is delivered
Process Steps
- 01 Initial conversation — listening to your situation
- 02 Lawyer identifies applicable frameworks and documents required
- 03 Written summary prepared (typically 5–10 working days)
- 04 Summary delivered — client decides next steps at own pace
Pension Adjustment & Recalculation Assistance
RM 1,950
Assistance for clients who believe a pension figure has been calculated incorrectly or has not kept pace with adjustments they were entitled to. The lawyer will gather supporting records, prepare a written explanation of the discrepancy, and engage with the relevant administrator on the client's behalf. Where matters can be resolved through correspondence, that route is preferred over litigation; where escalation is necessary, the lawyer will explain the realistic options before any step is taken.
- Gathering and reviewing contribution records and scheme documentation
- Written explanation of any identified discrepancy
- Direct correspondence with the pension administrator on client's behalf
- Escalation options explained clearly before any further step is taken
Process Steps
- 01 Review of the existing pension figure and relevant records
- 02 Identification of any discrepancy and its basis
- 03 Written representation prepared and submitted to administrator
- 04 Monitoring of administrator response and follow-up as needed
- 05 Escalation options considered only if correspondence does not resolve the matter
Survivor & Dependant Pension Support
RM 580
Considered guidance for spouses, children, and other dependants navigating a pension claim after the loss of a contributor. Includes a careful review of eligibility, documentation, and timelines, with sensitivity to the family's emotional load during this period. The lawyer will set out the steps clearly and at a pace that matches the family's readiness, and will liaise with administrators directly where the family prefers not to handle correspondence themselves.
- Review of eligibility under applicable survivor provisions
- Documentation checklist and timeline clarification
- Direct administrator liaison — family need not manage correspondence
- Process paced to match the family's readiness
Process Steps
- 01 Initial conversation at a pace that suits the family
- 02 Eligibility review under the applicable scheme's survivor provisions
- 03 Document gathering with the lawyer's guidance
- 04 Administrator liaison and claim submission handled by the lawyer
